Create and select an artwork candidate

Give an image-capable agent a bounded brief and review the asset before using it.

Updated 2026-09-15

An artwork assignment needs an image-generation capability, not just a model that can discuss images. Check that the selected provider and tools can generate an asset and that any required account is connected.

Worked example: one documentation illustration

Illustrative.

01 · Goal

Create one candidate for a documentation landing page.

02 · Setup

Use an available image-capable configuration and a repository folder reserved for review assets. Replace the path below with your project's actual review folder.

03 · Prompt

Prompt
Create one flat technical drawing of an open logbook on warm paper.
Use fine charcoal lines and one muted red accent. Leave the left half quiet
for page copy. Include no text, logo, glow, or 3D rendering.
Save the candidate in the agreed review-assets folder. Return its exact path
and dimensions. Do not overwrite a shipped asset or publish the page.

04 · Evidence produced

An inspectable image file, its dimensions, and its location.

05 · User review

Open the file at the intended page size. Check composition, copy space, visual artifacts, and the project's asset requirements. Select the candidate explicitly before replacing production artwork.

Model names alone do not establish image-generation support. This example intentionally leaves selection to the capabilities available in your installation.
